I think a little gushing is in order.Last week, while I was out of town for work, Anson found out that he was accepted to the surgical program for his second year of graduate school. Because I wasn’t there, I wasn’t able to kiss him or do the fist pump (my typical reaction when something awesome happens) or, well, get silly drunk with him to celebrate. So, with that said, I’d like to propose a little toast to my husband who I couldn’t be more proud of. He’s smart and kind and a really good person, even when no one is looking. We may lead a quiet, small life right now, but I know he’s going to do big things.Plus, this means he’ll be coming home in scrubs every day, which—let’s face it, ladies—is always a good thing:)
