What’s not to love about a springtime shower? Honestly, as much as I’ve never really had the knack for decorations and god knows cooking up miniature  hors d’oeuvres will never be my forte, I’m a big fan of the bridal shower. Sun dresses, champagne, bows, grandmothers—it’s all pretty wonderful.Which is why I’m so excited for our trip to Blacksburg tomorrow. My dear friend Lindsay (who we’ll be honoring) is like a little doll, with her big blue eyes and perfect outfits. Plus, if you wind her up enough, she’ll usually dance for you, which is always a treat:)So, I suppose April showers bring August weddings, complete with papaya dresses and a big brass band. And I gotta tell ya—I can’t wait to see the blushing bride riverdancing her way around the dance floor. Or perhaps an iceless figure-skating routine is in order. Either way, something tells me it’s going to be the perfect day.
